Hi! Finally an outfit post. My friend needed some help with an art project so I dressed up and shot some photos with him. It was fun. I don't like taking style too seriously (or anything for that matter), so it's fun to play around every now and again. A little dress up never hurt anyone, did it?

Eyeballs!

Hi! Once again, long time no see. Lots has been happening since I last posted. I turned 19! I suppose that's one of the biggest things. I don't feel much older, but I suppose you never do. Lots of other things have happened that I can't recall. Anyway, this post is about eyeballs. I'm really into anything that is an eyeball and that is wearable. I'm not sure why. It might be a little strange to love eyeballs all of the sudden, I don't know. I just know that I can't help it.

Photo 1 and 2: I got some hologram eyeball sunglasses I had been yearning for. I had started to see them again and it reminded me of when I was a kid and how cool I thought I was to own a pair. I'm on the look out for some with some aliens, smiley faces, or maybe some crosses on them.

Photo 3: Eyeball purse. I bought this at a little shop in Baltimore on charles st. It's really rad (i've been using this word too much). I got it on the weekend of my birthday and as soon as I saw it I had to have it.

Photo 4: Eyeball pin. I also find this in a little store on charles st. It's made by an artist here in Baltimore. I saw it in the window as I was walking by and there was no way I was going home without it. They also had another one for sale I was considering going back there and buying it so I could clip them both on either side of my collared shirts.

Hi! long time no see. It's been ages since I've been able to post, and honestly, I'm sad about it. But here I am! Hopefully (fingers crossed) I'll be able to start posting more. Life has been, well, hectic to say the least. I miss doing all my style things. But anyway, here is some not-so-great web cam photos. I've fallen in love with cheap halloween wigs. I mean, you can be something different every day, who doesn't love that?

Not wearing anything too grand (I feel like I always say that) in this. Black dress and black hat that I thrifted, and a pair of creepers. Warning to the wise: creepers may look super cool but they are like bricks for shoes so wear with caution.

I'm so glad I was able to post again after it being so long, hopefully things will get better and I'll be able to post A LOT more. Thanks for sticking in there, friends.

Over the weekend I went to the natural history museum in DC. They had this beautiful crocheted coral reef exhibit on display. I was completely in awe of its array of colors. Yesterday as I stumbled across the most genius idea. Ear cuffs! Basically, it's a little piece of jewelry that clips onto your ear. Think like a cuff bracelet, it's basically the same Idea, except for your ear! It's amazing. I'm so sad I didn't com across them sooner. No piercing needed I might add. I need some ear cuffs as soon as possible.

While I was on my way to get my best friend I took some photos of the trees. They look so beautiful this time of year.

My bestfriend bought me a pink piano :3 I had told him I wanted one a year ago and he remembered.

This is Hatsune Miku. She is a Vocaloid.

Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application first developed at the Pompeu Fabra University in Spain and backed financially by the Yamaha Corporation.^[1] The software enables users to synthesize singing by typing in lyrics and melody. It utilizes Yamaha's Vocaloid synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics. A piano roll type interface is used to input the melody and the lyrics can be entered on each note. The software can change the stress of the pronunciations, add effects such as vibrato, or change the dynamics and tone of the voice. Each Vocaloid is sold as "a singer in a box". The software is available in English and Japanese, although a Chinese version was produced for Sonika.

She did a concert. She is a 3D hologram. This is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I was completely awe struck when I saw it. It's amazing what you can do with a big brain and a lot of creativity. She isn't the only Vocaloid; there are many. I just think it's such a great use of technology. I really hope I go to Japan sometime soon. It just seems like such an inspiring place. Anyway! Enjoy Hatsune :3 I know I have been! I'm slowly becoming obsessed with all of the Vocaloids haha. It's just a really interesting idea and I really wanted to put it on my blog. Creativity used in such a fantastic and new way is so inspiring.

Hi! Finally a new outfit post :). I hope everyone had a good Halloween. My wasn't too exciting. But I made candy apples with my family! It was lots of fun. My grandfather and cousin went to the apple orchard and picked apples and then my grandmother and myself covered them in candy. A nice little Halloween treat.

And now for my outfit!

I think I'd like to say a little something about this piece. This is my great grandmothers Celtic cross. It was giving to my grandfather by his mother and to my aunt by her father and now it's mine. I really love this. I can't stand when I don't have it on my person. I feel as if It's always keeping me safe and reminding me what is right and wrong. I'd be very upset if I lost it. In person it's stunning. A really rustic, old looking thing. But I love it old things so it fits me just fine.

I'm actually wearing things that aren't thrifted in this outfit! Hahah, unbelievable is it not?
A lot of the accessories are from my family. The belt is my mothers and the glasses are my grandmothers.

I'm not much of a shoe person. I've never felt the lust for shoes that most girls do. I always find it hard to find shoes that fit me well and that I like so perhaps that's why I don't have the undying affection for shoes that most people do. Give me a pair of dirty, old, worn out boots and I'm a happy camper. But contrary to my normal feelings, I really want a pair of wedges! I'm not sure why but I just feel like I must have them in my life.

I'm not sure what inspired me to get a pair of wedges. All I know is that I really, really want a pair. I just hope I can learn to walk in them without looking like tree beard, haha.
